XRay (Radiography)
X-rays are a type of electromagnetic radiation, just like visible light. An x-ray machine sends individual x-ray particles through the body. The images are recorded on a computer or film.

PREPARING FOR YOUR TEST
Before your test, tell your health care team if you are pregnant, may be pregnant, or if you have an IUD inserted. Metal can cause unclear images. You will need to remove all jewelry and you may need to wear a hospital gown.

I left my information that the people needed like my Medicare card and stuff at home by a mistake, and instead of making me walk home to get my stuff to have to walk back, they kindly asked if I had some type of ID and if I knew the information for the doctors office that I went to which referred me to them, I answered yes and gave them the doctors information. From there they got all my information sent over to them, they were really nice people there and my check up went fast and smoothly!! Thank you to the people there for help me!!

My babysitter cancelled on me so i had to go in with my 15 month old daughter late. Not only was me coming late not a problem but they watched my daughter for 30 mins and i came back to a happy smiling baby. The staff is awesome here.
I was there last week for an MRI and the entire staff was very welcoming and attentive, especially Michelle. I’m extremely claustrophobic and with her help I was able to do my exam. She was very sweet and informed me that the results would be received by my doctor in a few days (which they were). If you need an MRI done, this is the place to do it.
I would give this place 5 stars, but the technician is professional but not very comforting. I don't do well in a tight place, and I went here because it's an open MRI. Once under the machine, I began to panic, and the tech guy was nowhere to be seen and could careless about how I was doing. Several times, he left the machine unattended. I could see thru the corner of my eye, I was looking for reassurances. I would speak, and no one would answer. My suggestion would be to be mindful of people who don't do well in confine places. Provide comfort while under the machine. It doesn't take much to be gentle and comforting.
The best experience with MRI tests. I had to do two cervical and back tests due to a car accident until the day of the test arrived, having a Claustrophobia problem without knowing that I could not perform it, the staff and assistants helped me to achieve it, especially Melissa, such a sweet person and patient who was with me throughout the development of the tests to be able to finish. The attention of this center is very good especially for its staff. I recommend them 100% for their professionalism

It’s not often one comes across a doctors office they can feel comfortable in. This place, Jersey Advanced, really knows how to take care of you. From the technicians to the wonderful receptionist that sit up front. They have ensured that each patient that steps inside are greeted with top of the line services. Also, their bilingual communication skills allows for vast majority of patients to be seen and spoke to with no issues. If there is any place to go for MRI’s, X- Rays, etc.. Jersey Advance MRI is the is the one for sure.
Scheduling & preparation was A+. Staff fully respected my phobias of MRI to accommodate and put me at ease. Had Open MRI with dye, wasnt aware of a stop/quit procedure button. but kept eyes closed & survived. Facility was clean & very well taken care of.
This is the best MRI experience I’ve had in a while. I was referred by my orthopedic and was told they reach out within 24-48 hours to schedule an appointment which THEY DID! Scheduling was quick and easy! I arrived at the office 15 minutes before my scheduled appointment and was taken into the back by 10 on the dot! The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The tech was wonderful and pleasant. Overall, everyone I encountered in the office was professional, helpful and patient. I would absolutely recommend this office to others. AND the BOUNS is there is SUFFICIENT PARKING! And a Dunkin to grad a quick bite and coffee if you arrive extra early!
